Institutional commitment against Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA)

Policy of Protection and Responsible Action – Law N. º 29408

In America, Andean BG, we reaffirm our absolute commitment to the advocacy, promotion and protection of the rights of children and adolescents. As a tourist establishment, we act in strict compliance with the Law N. º 29408 – Law General of Tourism, its regulation, and all of the current rules which penalize and prevent the Sexual exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA).

The Law 29408 establishes the obligation of all providers of tourist services promote responsible tourismensuring the security, integrity and dignity of persons under age. In addition, the legislation required to implement measures of prevention, detection and reporting immediately to any situation suspicious.


In alignment with the Law 29408, our facility complies with:

✓ Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Field of Tourism

Instrument promoted by MINCETUR that forces you to hotels, agencies, and tour operators to implement preventive actions against the ESNNA.

✓ Criminal code – Peruvian Articles 181-A, 181-B, 182 and 183-To

Criminalize the exploitation and trafficking of minors, as well as the promotion, promotion, or concealment of these crimes.

✓ Law 30403 – Ban on Advertising, Promotion and Promotion of Sex Tourism

It reinforces the protection of minors in tourist areas.

In compliance with these laws, our staff is trained to identify warning signs, act immediately and coordinate with the relevant authorities.


2. Preventive measures Implemented in Our Establishment

• Zero Tolerance

We do not allow, under any circumstances, sexual exploitation, trafficking, abuse or any infringement of the rights of minors, within or outside the establishment.

• Mandatory Identification

According to the Law 29408 and regulations hospitality peruvian, all guests must present an official document of identity.

The admission of girls, children, or adolescents only allowed if they are accompanied by their parents, legal guardian, or an adult with written and validated.

• Denial of Services to those Suspected

We reserve the right of admission to to prevent situations of risk, being able to refuse accommodation or access to visitors if detected signs of inappropriate behavior toward minors.

• Procedure of Immediate Denunciation

Before a fact or reasonable suspicion of ESNNA:

  • It activates our Internal protocol Alert.
  • Are reported immediately to the National police of Peru (PNP) and the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP).
  • It guarantees the protection of the child involved, prioritizing their physical and emotional.

• Ongoing training for Staff

Our entire team participates in training programs on:

  • Identification of risk indicators.
  • Legal proceedings and complaints.
  • Good practice of responsible attention to the tourist.
  • Guidelines MINCETUR to prevent the ESNNA.

3. Social responsibility and Working Together

Following the spirit of the Law 29408, we promote tourism ethical, responsible, and safe, articulating actions with:

  • MINCETUR
  • Tourism police
  • MIMP
  • Municipalities and local authorities
  • Organizations dedicated to the defense of childhood

Our commitment is to be an active part in the construction of a protective environment for all children and to reject any form of exploitation or abuse.


4. Message to Our Guests

The protection of children and adolescents is a shared responsibility.

We ask that, if you notice any unusual situation or alleged to be risky, report it immediately to our staff. Their collaboration helps to prevent crime and to preserve a safe environment for all.
